Missing humans would be a bigger deal than missing cupcakes, though, so you'd have a tough time hiding it after giving into temptation. [A sage nod here.] Oh, a garden! That sounds really nice. One of my best friends is a florist so I get and grow a lot of flowers, but I feel like veggies are a completely different beast. What do you grow?

I think you're right.

That said, I grow a variety of things. I have a small vegetable garden, but I also have a couple beds and pots for flowers. I like big, brightly colored ones. But I also keep things like carrots and peas. I have a little greenhouse for tomatoes and other things that have a long grow time but don't fare well in the cold of winter, too.

Is it possible for greenhouses to be little? I can only imagine really big ones that take up at least a quarter of a huge garden. But that sounds so nice...cooking with fresh ingredients everyday would be amazing. I live in an apartment right now, so there's no place for tomatoes to grow, but there are window box gardens, right? And some herbs that are okay in tiny pots? Do you have any advice on how to grow those?

Oh of course. The one I have is... oh, about the size of a closet. In fact, I'm sure there are walk-in closets larger than the one I have. It just has a couple shelves. But you can make them as small as just having a front panel to open and slip plants into and off the shelves.

And perhaps not every day. The yield of your crops is a little less than you imagine, compared to how long it takes to grow them, but it is definitely worth it for things like herbs, which you only need to tear a leaf or two off the main stalk in order to flavor something. It's a little different with vegetables and fruits.

Still, I think it's entirely worth it.

But yes, you can definitely get window planetrs. Those would be perfect places for things like herbs, and those you get more utilization out of. And hm... well, all plants are a little different. Some are more difficult than others, some will sprout up with no provocation or help and flourish. It all depends on a few factors... so I guess I could say... it's up to what you want to grow and how much work you're willing to put into them.

[So much good information! Minako actually whips out a notebook from her purse and starts taking notes, nodding along in places.] Oh, I don't mind putting a lot of work into them, it's just that my schedule requires more low maintenance stuff...I could definitely start with the herb window planters though! [The waitress finally comes by with their huge parfait, which makes an audible thunk as it's set down on the table. The spoons are pretty big too. Minako grins and snaps a picture.] First impressions?

I think it would be worth it. And they smell wonderful! You'll find a lot of good information with a quick Google search if and when I'm not around, but I'd be happy to provide tips whenever possible.

[And now that offer's on the table, a more literal thing thunks down on the table.

... It's massive. Sakuya's eyes go a little wide, her eyebrows lifting up. That's... a sizeable amount, there.]

... It's as large as you described it, all right. I'm glad I didn't have anything else to eat. But it looks delicious!

It doesn't just look delicious~ Oh, if you prefer, you can scoop out some into a separate dish, but me, I'm gonna dive straight in. [Not like Minako's spoon will even touch any of the parfait on Sakuya's side for a good fifty bites or so. It's essentially a mini wall of ice cream between them.]

[She gives a soft giggle.] It's all right as it is. [She's not exactly worried about it. If it was some kind of weird public thing, maybe, but Minako looks like a perfectly alright young woman. Sakuya likes to think maybe she's pretty good at judging people at this stage.

So instead, she takes a few bites, humming approval every time.] It is very good! Well worth the extra calories.

[Minako grins behind her spoon.] Don't think about the calories! Besides, you can always walk them off later. Or do some extra gardening to make up for it.
